Compensation
 The Compensation Unit supports State Government in the following ways:
  • Develops, maintains, and oversees the Classified Employee Compensation System and a variety of Exempt Employee Pay Plans which enable management to attract, retain, and reward competent and professional employees at all levels of the organization. This also includes the management of the State Market Factor Adjustment and the Hire-into-Range Policies and Procedures.
  • Provides creative tools to effectively reward exceptional contributions by employees by developing, maintaining, and monitoring the Statewide Merit Bonus Policies for both Classified and Exempt employees.
