| The Compensation Unit also oversees the Statewide Market Factor Adjustment Policy. This policy outlines policy intent and procedural guidelines that allow, at the State's discretion and under specific conditions, for supplements to be applied to the existing Classified pay structure to insure proper recruitment and retention in job classes affected by unusual labor market conditions.
