| All permanent state employees and their family members can now receive confidential assistance with personal problems through the expanded State of Vermont employee's Employee Assistance Program (EAP). Effective January 1, 2004, our EAP is administered by INVEST EAP, a regional EAP with numerous locations throughout Vermont. This is a free service offering you and your family members up to five sessions of counseling. If more than 5 sessions are needed, the EAP counselor will help you switch to an insurance-based service.
The EAP offers help with a wide range of issues including conflicts and tension, eating disorders, family and relationship problems, financial or legal concerns, balancing work and home, depression, and alcohol or drug problems.
Confidentiality is assured by law. EAP counselors can help. They know your community and its resources, and can make a difference in your life. |
