The Supervisors' Development Program (SDP) is a series of seminars that help new and experienced supervisors gain valuable skills critical for their success.

I am a new supervisor. Can the program help me in my new position?
Yes, the skills taught and information provided can assist supervisors at any level of their development.

I am not a supervisor at this time. Can I still enroll in the program?
If there are any vacancies in a group they may be filled by participants who are not currently supervising.

Will I have to pay the fee up front?
No. Your department will be billed.

What are the requirements to graduate?
Attendance at all required courses, completion of course paperwork, and preparation of an Individual Development Plan (IDP).

What is an IDP?
The Individual Development Plan (IDP) is a plan to address a skill or knowledge base the participant has identified and wishes to develop within the SDP timeframe.

What if I can't attend one of the classes?
A person cannot graduate until they have completed all the requirements. The may be able to "make-up" missed classes during the next SDP cycle.
