Financial Services
State of Vermont employees and members of their families may join the Vermont State Employees’ Credit Union (VSECU) as soon as they begin employment. The VSECU is a non-profit, member-owned financial cooperative that returns profits through higher dividend rates, lower loan rates, lower fees or no fees and affordable services, including financial planning. The Credit Union has six branch offices located in: Montpelier, Berlin, Waterbury, Williston, Burlington, and Rutland. It offers online, phone, and automated teller services (ATMs). Savings, checking, mortgages, auto loans, and credit cards are among the accounts the Credit Union provides.
